Bio
Coach Neagle returns as the Bristol Blues' Pitching Coach, bringing more than 20 years of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels. His extensive background includes three seasons with the New Britain Bees and three years coaching in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), where his teams consistently qualified for postseason play.
Throughout his coaching career, Coach Neagle has built a reputation for developing successful pitching staffs and competitive programs. As a high school head coach and pitching coach, he has captured numerous regular-season and postseason championships. His teams have led their league in ERA on four occasions, and he has called 12 no-hitters and two perfect games. He has coached numerous all-conference pitchers and helped more than 50 student-athletes advance to collegiate baseball careers.
In addition to his team coaching experience, Coach Neagle has worked extensively as a private instructor and college coach, helping develop several professional players. Among those he has mentored are seven players selected in the 2025 MLB Draft and current Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brandyn Garcia.
Beyond the diamond, Coach Neagle serves as a lead instructor with Synergy Missions in Texas, helping conduct baseball camps throughout Northern Italy. Through Synergy, he combines baseball instruction with mentorship, using the game as a platform to positively impact young people.
Coach Neagle and his wife, Christy, are the proud parents of three adult children and have also welcomed ten exchange students into their home, whom they affectionately consider part of their family. Together, they are deeply committed to local and international mission work.
In addition to baseball, Coach Neagle has coached basketball at The Master's School in Simsbury, competing in the highly regarded Double-A/NEPSAC conference. During his tenure, he helped numerous athletes continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level, including Bristol native Andre Johnson, a two-time national champion at UConn.
A former player himself, Coach Neagle played collegiate baseball at UConn Hartford as both a middle infielder and pitcher.
